COSTA RICA OR BUST!!!

My friend Kelly and I are leaving for Costa Rica - at 0'dark thirty tomorrow morning!!!! I have never flown internationally before - this should be exciting! We plan to spend time at a beach area called Mal Pais (which translates to "bad country" in English)...hmmmmmm...then we're going to Arenal - which is a little town with a big volcano!!! We're also going to do a little hiking through the rainforest! Woohoo! Be watching for postcards! I'll post some pictures when we return!
Glad to hear from Ray and Lola! Keep on postin'! Love the updates!
Adios amigo! Tiene un buen fin de semana! (practicing my Spanish!)

SLOW AND STEADY

Cool......now Ray & Lola are on here! Found out last Sunday Pete has been lurking on here for awhile now. Interesting, you never know who's just reading. It's been kind of quiet on here lately........Doug hasn't been posting his usual witty posts that everyone looks forward to, Darrell's been kind of quiet too, just an odd picture or so and John has pretty much disappeared..what's up with that? Mark has also been very low key. Haven't seen anything from Tricia in awhile.

Chance was up here a few weeks ago, saw him for a little bit. He really enjoyed his visit with me.

Woody's will be torn down on 4/11 according the WC website. They're shutting down all the roads around there and re-routing them for the demolition. I've hated those colors since they painted it but it IS a landmark and it's been there my whole life so I hate to see it go.

I started a new personal blog- the link is at the bottom if you want to read it - from an idea I had last weekend sitting on my deck and blogging. I hope to do more of that as it warms up.....sitting outside, blogging and surfing.

Someone bought something from my Amazon store link on my old blog (which is still up & running); made a couple of bucks off of that purchase, so THANK YOU, whoever you are. I put a new store on my new blog....it's free and you never know...might make a little money. It's easy to do, for anybody who interested. Once you get it set up, you don't have to do much, Amazon does it all.

Thanks, Doug, for the update on Connie...that girl moves around so much it's hard to keep up with her. I will have to stop in there next time I'm down that way.

Another classmate died last week.......Chuck Chinn. I think his dad is with the fire dept in WC, don't know any of his brothers or sisters. How weird two people I went to school with died in the same week. (Pete will read this and be amazed that someone named CHINN has lived in WC all this time. Remind me to tell you the story of Sol Gomez sometime.)

Well, I need to get off here and try to get to sleep. Tootles!

The Ray & Lola Branch of the Coots Family Bush

Amelia is now 16 as of March 8th. We are having some major malfunctions on that front as we are going to juvenile court tomorrow for an issue that occurred a few weeks ago. We are trying to pull out all the stops with her, trying to get her to realize what she's doing to her future but she's a hard headed little critter. Ray & I are doing okay. He's lovin' his inspection job with National Inspection Corp & I'm still working with Raylene, Rebekah, et al @ Lindemann Physical Therapy. Tammy and her youngest daughter, Shelbea, were up from Texas a few weeks ago and had a nice visit with them. The whole tribe went out for dinner--Tricia, Kyle, Logan, Dylan, Tony, Tammy, Shelbea, Sue & Al and of course, us and our little one, Amelia. Ray's granddaughter, Rianna, is expecting twins in June--one of each, girl & boy, that is. Although, there could be other possibilities. That will put the end to the "boys only" slump in that end of the family greenery. Had a great visit with Robin last Saturday. No pics at this time, not as fancy as Tricia & her fabulous little movie. We went up to visit Robbie & his wife, DeRhonda, at the new abode, right next to their current abode in Ithaca (Darke County). Good weather for a ride & lovely countryside complete with the fresh aroma of the farms. NOT to be confused with aromatherapy. Anyhow, will check in with you all later.

BEEN SLACKING IN THE POSTING..

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. Many reasons, none of them good. Even if I'm not posting, I check every day to see what anyone or everyone has to say and I've enjoyed the pics. Saw Ray & Lola today (Saturday, I mean)...guess they've been lurking on here awhile. Ray says he might post something soon...I hope so!

So, anything good going on with anybody? Good news, news, whatever...post it here. Pics are always nice. Still wondering where Doug got all those pics he has posted...I think he's in cahoots with Pete. I've got some I want to scan and put on here - I just never get around to anything anymore. Maybe soon.

I wish Mike, Rick and Pete would join in.

Anybody have any ideas for a family get together (all of us this time)? Maybe in the fall? I've got sort of an idea but I don't know if everybody will go for it. I'm trying to think of stuff cheap and fun, but not a lot of hassle. So, anyway, any ideas, post them on here!
