um hello, i remember Saddam's head rolling around on the floor like a beach ball after they chopped it off. i saw the awesome video. and this country never had that much of a surplus and need i remind you that the senate is run by the dems so if you would like to bitch about spending then talk to your buddy Hillary and ask her why she has taken pork barrel money and sent it to new york. don't know what that is? look it up. and my boy McCain has never taken pork barrel money. and furthermore raising your taxes has nothing to do with your health care. she wants to have a health care system like what they have in Canada. I'm not going to go into details about how bad that would be. look it up.

Ohio peeps!!! Let's have a Luau complete with MOCKtails!!! This Sunday, 4:00pm. It will either be at Doug & Kathy's house or at Robin's! We'll let you know! Since we can't all go to Hawaii......let's bring Hawaii to US!!!! This party will be complete with decorations, food, MOCKtails and FUN!!!!!!

well well well so chance worked on the John (flip flop) Kerry campaign. well judging by the results of that election, i have nothing to worry about. when are all you Yankee democrats going to wake up? funny thing happened just a few weeks ago. the senate passed a bill that will raise our taxes after bush leaves rather than extend the tax cuts for 3 years after he leaves. and guess who made that cost saving move, you guessed it your damn democrats. for the record McCain voted to extend the tax cut for 3 years, the other 2 losers voted to end the tax cut as soon as bush leaves office. do you really want to put someone in office who wants to have a health care plan like they do in Canada? if so do your research and you will change your mind quick. do you really want to put someone in office who has ties to domestic terrorists? do your research and think about it. his middle name isn't Hussein for nothing. i have 2 words for all of you democrats,

its time that all the illegals in this country start paying there way and stop running up the cost of living in this country. popping out babies left and right and running up health care cost. why is it they can stand on the corner by the hundreds begging for work and we cant go round them up and send them back over the river? i get so damn sick and tired of going to work or anywhere for that matter and getting stuck behind a 2 door compact car packed with 15 brick laying Mexicans who are afraid to do the god damn speed limit for fear of getting pulled over. how do these fuckers get away with it. Jesus Christ don't get me started this morning.

Long time no see

Hello Coots clan. I know many of you have been wondering where the prodigal Brooks child has been. Well I'm still alive and kicking in Tennessee. Life has been busy and crazy since I've seen you all. So long story short, I ended a 2 year relationship in september (good riddance), lost 15 pounds, quit smoking, cut drinking to 2 times a week, and got laid off. What can I say life is great. I read the past blogs on here and I have to admit I have a strange family. My biggest thing is AM I REALLY RELATED TO JOHN!!!! Knowing his political views he will love to know that When Hillary or Obama win the democratic primary I will be working on their campaign, just as I did for John Kerry. I think that John, Pete, Robin and I should get together and talk politics. Thank you Brandy for posting the pic of me and dad at your wedding, I just added it to my myspace profile. Well it's 3am and Im getting tired so here are a few picks I had taken the past couple weeks.

Dog Party II and So On

The closest that we will get to a dog party will be May 20th when Gracie and I will officially be the same age in dog years until August when I turn 57. It's a once in a lifetime happening like a blue moon or the Haley's comet thing. :)
The last time we were in Cumberland in the Po Folk Craft Store, we got the phone number of a family who rents out their BIG house to people (like us) who have family in the area and it's much cheaper than a motel (no offense, Cumberland Motel). We will be happy to call if we can get an idea when everyone would like to get together and see what we can do about scheduling a family gathering.
The American Idol continues this week at Tony's workshop. He sang "Do Wah Diddy" last week. Will likely sing it again this week--they don't change up much the few weeks. Anyhow, for those who went last year, Constance, Gregory, Brian and Tony 2 are in the competition again. There are some new people that are very enthusiastic as well. It's really a great time!! We enjoyed it very much last time and this go round is off to a good start. It's about an hour and a half. Any of you who would like to join us, please get in touch. It's a fun evening. Believe me, it's MUCH more inspiring that the American Idol on TV.
So, ya all think about the Cumberland trip. We could call them and get some dates when the house is open and go from there also. CU later on.
