ok well im off work early we had a water main break so we had to close by state law, the owner took us to another bar where most of us preceded to get drunk , but I'm cutting back on my drinking( which is a good thing). so robin when i get a minute to figure out how to post a pic on here you've had it lol. DID YOU ALL MISS ME YESTERDAY? I STOPPED TO HELP TWO GIRLS WHO HAD CAR TROUBLE TUESDAY NIGHT AND AS IT TURNED OUT, THEY WERE STRIPPERS AND I HAD TO GIVE THEM A RIDE HOME. THEY MUST HAVE LIVED REALLY FAR AWAY BECAUSE I DIDN'T GET BACK HOME UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING. AND I HAVE BEEN GETTING SHIT ABOUT IT ALL DAY. THAT'S WHAT I GET FOR TRYING TO DO A GOOD DEED. I GUESS I WON'T DO THAT AGAIN. BUT, AHH, THE MEMORIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

John, of course we care. Why would you assume anyone wouldn't? Post a pic of your girls on here so we can see two of the most beautiful little girls in the world. And, if you were here in June (which I don't remember) and I didn't see you, then it's still been 3 years. Duh. I don't know where Doug's been...laying low for some reason. Maybe he's sick...I've been sick all week, apparently something going around. Not the flu though cause I've had a flu shot so it can't be the flu.

Chance, glad to see ya! I appreciate the posts today and the updates on what's going on with you (same to Tricia and John). Pete is gonna kick your ass if she ever reads that post and then you'll wish you still had that track suit and red shoes. Ha Ha, I just cracked myself up with that one! Oh well, to me you will always be that little boy in the brown track suit and red shoes. When you are as old as I am, you'll see that's not such a bad thing.

I agree that we should all get together for most of you its been anywhere from 7 to 10 years since I have seen you, granted last time I was up I wasnt there long and I only got to see Michelle, her boys, Robin, Pete and Doug. Even though its never a dull moment with Pete. Robin had to chaparone, and I made Wes go with me. I have learned that if you bring up Dog the bounty hunter that alone will be hours of conversation and you wont have to get into the political and other stuff with her lmao. For those of you who dont know I have been living in Knoxvill for the past 61/2 years. I love it here there is plenty to do. I have been bartending for 3 years (perfect job for an alcoholic), and I currently manager a resturaunt in West Town Mall called Charlies Grilled subs, the owners are the best peoplein the world. Life has been great for me here I have found myself and I am not the person most of you knew. I have come out of my shell and anywhere i go I am most likely to be the life of the party. Now Robin I made the comment about moms pic , because I know how much she hates having her pic taken, having said that I think its funny as hell. I checked out your other blog and saw the most god awful pic of me a a child in a brown sweat suit with red shoes. 2 things, I showed someone that pic and they laughed their ass off for about 10 minutes I was not happy ( I may need to borrow your basement). Second thing wow i do have proof that there are pics of me out there without a beer or cigarette in my hand lol. Well gotta go Im bartending tonight so Im like a fat kid in dodgeball.... I'm out.

to whom it may concern

i know most of you dont care or already know, but i thought i would let my cousins (and in some cases uncle's) know what's going on with me since i never see any of them. i'am not married nor do i plan on doing that again.. twice is plenty. i do have 2 of the most beautiful little girls on the face of the planet. hannah will be 9 on jan 31st, bailey just turned 4 in nov. i'am currently employed by pitman company (we had a branch in dayton but it has since moved to west chester). i work in the kennesaw ga branch and i'm the southeast region purchasing agent. we supply the graphic arts industry ( newspapers, printshops, etc.). i have been here for almost 4 years now. i love my job although it makes me think and that hurts my head. thats about it.
i wonder what has happend to doug, he usually has something to say everyday on here. maybe the guards caught him and he's tied up at the moment. come to think of it he may have broken one of his new crayons and is sitting in time out with his nose in the corner. or better yet kathy read his blog about women and their rights and he's busy kissing some serious ass.
but in all seriousness, someone need to sit down and come up with a plan on how we can all get together sometime. and by the way robin it hasnt been 3 years since you saw me last. if i recall i was up there in june and you were too busy doing something else to come over to pete's.

Tugging at the Heart Strings

Good Grief, Robin!! That was a little heavy for 7 am reading..I think I'm going to cry. It's so true though...I don't even know the last time I saw most of "this side" of the family. This blog is a great idea and a great way to keep in touch...good for you for trying to keep the clan together!! :-)

I would love to hear how everyone is doing..what's going on in your lives, etc etc. My life is pretty boring..but I'll fill you in anyway!!

I've been married for 9 years to my husband Kyle, we met in high school and have been a couple for 16 years!! SO hard to believe I am old enough to have been a "couple" for that long. We have 2 boys, Logan is 6 and Dylan is 4. We live in Dayton. I work from home as a customer service rep for 1800diapers.com--I love it...this is the first job I have had that I LOVE. Kyle is currently unemployed..which has kind of forced his hand at being a "stay at home dad"...he doesn't love his job as much as I love mine...go figure!! In a nutshell that's our life. We don't do much for fun...except watch TV (the DVR is the greatest invention EVER) and play our new Nintendo Wii--we got it for Christmas and are all obsessed...speaking of obsessed..I've been playing The Sims alot--THAT is addictive...or maybe I just have an addictive personality??? Don't know where that would have come from. HA HA

So..that's us, I'll post a pic of the boys so you all can see how cute they are. *grin*

Mark, you need to sign in and make a profile so your name will show up on the list like everyone else. Just sneaking in comments is like cheating and will not be tolerated. Doug apparently knows some guards and I may hire them to monitor this site. That oughta be a kick.

I am so glad to see everyone on here that is participating so far! Much better response than I had hoped for, to be honest. Now if we can get the rest of them contributing......

Personally, I think it's kinda neat that no matter where we all are, this is a way to stay in touch and connect. Just simple little posts, comments, the occasional pics. I like it and I think it's nice.

I've invited everyone at least twice to this blog. I don't really want to have to send out another invitation to those who haven't signed on. I also don't think I should have to so I will enlist the rest of you to help me on this. Look at the side and see who's signed up so far. If you see someone missing and you know their email, maybe you can send them a quick note and ask them to go ahead and join. Anyone who I missed because I didn't have their email is welcome to join also, let me know and I will add them.

I hate to bring out the big guns but I guess I am going to have to. Before our mom died, she told me she was afraid we would all go our separate ways and not stay in touch. I know that really bothered her. I shrugged it off at the time and told her I didn't think it would happen because it seemed back then we all saw each other a lot. So the years have passed, and here we are. Yeah, I know we've tried to do the get together thing in the summer. But you know, Mark's in Utah and can't get back here, someone usually plans it for when Mike and Rick are on vacation, or someone can't get off work. Whatever the reason, here's the facts. I haven't seen Mark in over six years. It's been longer for the rest of you. That is too long to go without seeing your brother or sister. I haven't seen Darrell in probably 3 years. I saw Chance a few months ago for the first time in I guess six years. John, it's probably been 3 years? Things happen, I know that. I'm just saying this is free, easy and anyone with access to a computer can jump on here and post a quick note or something. It's not the same as in person, but it's close.

The last time we were ALL (brothers & sisters) together was when Kevin died. Before that, was when Mom died. Two times in 18 years? I shouldn't have to point out that at the next funeral, someone will be missing. A reality check. Hey, it's not easy...if you count all the grandkids, great-grandkids, etc, we've got over 60 people in this family now. It's not easy getting together or finding a place and time to do it.

So here's the place. Any time is the time. EVERYONE is welcome.
