SEVERE WEATHER 2008

well in case anyone is wondering about the brooks clan in Georgia, need not worry. it was dicey for awhile but we got through the tornado just fine. we have no damage here in the neighborhood. there is debris on the ground from the tornado that passed by. mom, dad,Zach, Hannah and i all took cover in the crawl space under the house. when the first siren went off it wasn't really doing much then it got real dark and odd looking with a lot of rain and hail. that's when we all took shelter downstairs. i honestly think Hannah was scared shitless. she has never been through anything like this before. after we all got under the house dad took to watching things from the back door in the garage and he heard the famous train sound coming from the tornado. after about 30 minutes or so we all got out. well mom did have trouble getting out of the crawl space but that's a story to tell in person. Hannah, Zach and i left after we thought the storm was done to go and check on my townhouse since the weather report showed it heading right for that area. it took us awhile to get there cause Evey way we went was too bad to get through. one tornado that came from the Polk county area cut a path about 2 miles from mom and dads house by way the bird flys. that path missed my townhouse by no more than 1/4 mile. it hit the neighborhood right across the street. that tornado continued and finally lifted just shy of woodland high school where brandy used to teach, also over by the cartersville airport. there is damage a lot closer to mom and dads but that tornado doesn't seem to have lasted very long. that path was going in a different direction then the other, it was more headed toward mom and dads. so that's where we got all the debris at around here. we did get caught in a nasty hail storm on the way to the townhouse and man there was a lot of rain. so much that the roads were flooded all over cartersville. its a mess around here. i did talk to brandy before went all took cover in the crawl space. i didn't know she was home alone or i would have gone and got her. but all is well here in redneck land.

I HAD A DREAM

i had a dream last night that you were all together,in a circle,holding hands,and singing LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW! LET IT SNOW!
