Good News About Amelia!!

Amelia took 1st place for her school (out of 40 students) in the Montgomery County Recycle Art Contest and her sculpture will be judged at the Wegerzyn Gardens (fancy schmancy art center) next Friday. The award ceremony is next Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.
We are really proud of her!! Just thought I would share--it's REALLY awesome to have something positive to say! We will take pictures and post after next week.

ok well what brandy is referring to is the fact that im getting married july 26th. it will be a small get together just family and select friends. im not brandy and dont expect family from ohio to come down. and what i mean by not brandy is that this is round 3 and im not as important as her. it may be moved up or pushed back depending on her dads health. his cancer may have come back so it all depends on that. we dont want to make a big deal out of it so thats why we only want a few peeps there. but hey if you want to send gifts then have at it (just kidding). i know brandy and rob will be gone that weekend so its their loss. also i know its the brickyard race and thats where michelle will be, again her loss. details and pictures of me and the future wife to follow sometime.

Cumberland or Bust!!!!

Hey!!! Rob and I were just thinking about our summer and what big adventures we have planned. We both really want to visit Cumberland. Is everyone/anyone still interested in taking a little weekend trip there? I discovered that there will be a really cool bluegrass festival in Harlan, June 26-28 (SWEET!!), but I couldn't find any hotels with rooms available that weekend (NOT SWEET!). In fact, I tried a few different resources and there were no rooms available after the weekend of June 13. And the price was a little steep for that weekend ($81 per night at the Holiday Inn in Harlan). Pesky. Ray and Lola - were you able to get any more info. about that house rental in Cumberland? I think it would be awesome if we could get this together. MARK - you could fly into Dayton, visit with the fam for a few days and then do the Cumberland trip, and then catch a flight back home! You do realize that I will pester you until you agree to do this!
