A girl I went to school with, Mary Tracy, died sunday from a stroke caused by high blood pressure. She was my age!!! yikes. Anyway, she was related to John, Bridget and the other Tracys here in W.C., including the attorneys down in town. Don't know if you guys knew any of them or not.....

NO MORE WOODY'S MARKET!!!

IT'S OFFICIAL. THE OLD WOODY'S BUILDING HAS BEEN SOLD AND THEY HAVE ALREADY STARTED GUTTING THE INSIDE. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO START DEMOLITION ON THE BUILDING THIS WEEK. I WILL TRY TO REMEMBER TO GET A PICTURE BEFORE THEY DO. THEY ARE BUILDING A SMALL RETAIL BLDG. I THINK A TASTE OF ELEGANCE BAKERY IS GOING IN THERE. I HAD HOPED THEY WOULD FIND A USE FOR THE OLD BLDG, BUT OH WELL, AT LEAST THEY'RE NOT PUTTING UP LOW INCOME APTS. LIKE THEY DO EVERYWHER ELSE IN W.C. I HAD HOPED THEY WOULD PUT A STRIP CLUB IN THE OLD BUILDING, WITH GIRLS DANCING IN THOSE ROUND WINDOWS THAT WENT OVER THE ROAD BUT I GUESS IT'S JUST NOT TO BE.!!!!!!!!!!!!
