NO MORE WOODY'S MARKET!!!
IT'S OFFICIAL. THE OLD WOODY'S BUILDING HAS BEEN SOLD AND THEY HAVE ALREADY STARTED GUTTING THE INSIDE. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO START DEMOLITION ON THE BUILDING THIS WEEK. I WILL TRY TO REMEMBER TO GET A PICTURE BEFORE THEY DO. THEY ARE BUILDING A SMALL RETAIL BLDG. I THINK A TASTE OF ELEGANCE BAKERY IS GOING IN THERE. I HAD HOPED THEY WOULD FIND A USE FOR THE OLD BLDG, BUT OH WELL, AT LEAST THEY'RE NOT PUTTING UP LOW INCOME APTS. LIKE THEY DO EVERYWHER ELSE IN W.C. I HAD HOPED THEY WOULD PUT A STRIP CLUB IN THE OLD BUILDING, WITH GIRLS DANCING IN THOSE ROUND WINDOWS THAT WENT OVER THE ROAD BUT I GUESS IT'S JUST NOT TO BE.!!!!!!!!!!!!

well damn. i saw the orange construction fence up this weekend and i got excited thinking someone had finally bought it and was going to use if for something. i guess they are taking down little farm too. i was hoping for a dorothy lane market or something although i admit the strip club was a clever (if skewed) idea. they could've done something like that webster street market downtown, that would've been cool. too much to hope for w.c. i guess.
what happened,the health dept. shut them down?
