As Lola said, we had a great time in Cumberland! Let's just say, I have a new favorite great aunt and her name is SUSAN!!!! She was cracking me up the whole time we were down there! And they are not kidding when they say she knows everybody in that town...and everybody knows her!! It is true!! We visited the cemetery, the coal museum, Kingdom Come State Park...and we tries to tour the actual coal mine (portal 31) but it was closed. I guess they haven't finished fixing it up for the full-fledged tour experience they want you to have. But, never fear, Bob Lunsford was there to give us a mini tour (which included him telling stories about when he worked there, and him showing us old pictures). The house we stayed in was great! Lots of space, clean, had all the necessities, nice bedrooms...it was perfect...and will be perfect for a bigger group as Lola mentioned. Well, here are some pictures. I had hoped to get more, but my batteries died right in the middle of our visit! Ray and Lola did get some good pictures of Susan at Kingdom Come Park!
