We had a great time as well--particularly w/having Tricia & Dylan with us. It's a reminder that we don't spend near enough time w/ ALL our family. I especially enjoyed Dylan's stories. He has some very interesting insights as to the workings of the world. Amelia & I are at home today since the van had to go back to the shop to finish up what Day's Chevrolet did to it over the weekend.
Looking forward to the festivities next week having our Georgia kin up here for the holiday. CU soon.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I had a blast at the wedding.. it was the most beautiful ceremony that I have ever seen. i am currently at my Bff's house in Gainesville enjoying myself. It's almost like being at a resort!! Wait until I tell everybody what Elise and her daughter got me as a gift. i cried when they gave it to me.I am going to have to come home more often to visit......Love all Ya'll and I had such a wonderful time visiting everybody especially my nieces....not to mention that I had a wonderful visit with my Mom and Dad and my brothers!!! I love all of you!! see you in about a week

AND WE'RE BAAAACK!

The wedding was wonderfully fantabulous and a great time was had by all this weekend! We're back to our respective homes and Brandy & Rob are honeymoooooning in Hawaii.
I am going to see if I can set up a subpage or something to post all the pics I imagine will be flooding in soon.....but I'm too tired now; I'm hoping for an early night tonite. I guess I'm just too old for these road trips anymore. Glad I went and glad to be home. Thanks to Darrell & Joyce and Peg & Johnny for being such great hosts - we all appreciate everything you did!

Our Baby Is Nearly A Year Old *to us*

Ray had me upload this while he is picking up Tricia & Dylan to begin our long journey to Georgia. We have had the bike nearly a year--it was second only to the other best birthday gift a girl could get--my granddaughter, Melba Tonimarie Gehle, who will also be a year old on August 25. BTW, my birthday is August 23. Melba is much more fun for me to play with though.

: ) Looking forward to the trip today--don't get to spend time often with my youngest stepdaughter & her tribe. Always a treat spending time with the "in-laws"--that makes me an outlaw, I guess. This would be considered a "blahg"as in "blah, blah, blah." See you all in Georgia--the Queen.

WEDDING COUNTDOWN CONTINUES

Less than 48 hours until Brandy and Rob become Mister and Missus.

Road trips begin tomorrow with Pete, Doug and me heading south in the morning; Ray, Lola, Amelia, Tricia and Dylan leaving around the same time, I guess and Michelle and Kim heading down a little later.

We should all arrive in Georgia about dinnertime, which means 24 hours to go (give or take a couple of hours)!!!

Mike and Paul are arriving late, late Thursday. Chance is coming down on Friday. Mark couldn't make it, unfortunately - I was so hoping to get to see him there (maybe later this summer?).

Wedding, reception, cookouts.....family fun time! Woo hoo!

ROAD TRIP WITH PETE & ROBIN

ROBIN, I AM STILL NOT SURE IF I AM GOING. HOWEVER, IF I DO, I DOUBT THAT IT WILL BE FAMILY FUN DAY IN THE CAR. I STILL REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I WENT DOWN THERE WITH YOU AND PETE. FIRST, AS SOON AS WE GET ON THE HIGHWAY, YOU BOTH WANT TO STOP AT EVERY BAR OR LIQUOR STORE THAT WE PASS. THEN BY THE TIME WE GET TO KENTUCKY, YOU ARE BOTH DRUNK, SWERVING ALL OVER THE ROAD, HONKING THE HORN, AND YELLING AT TRUCKERS. THEN BY THE TIME WE GET TO TENNESSEE YOU ARE BOTH HUNGRY SO WE STOP TO EAT AND YOU PASS OUT IN YOUR BISCUITS AND GRAVY AND PETE CALLS THE WAITRESS A SLUT AND THROWS A PITCHER OF ICE WATER ON HER. THEN I DRIVE THE REST OF THE WAY WHILE YOU BOTH SLEEP AND WHEN WE GET THERE YOU BOTH WAKE UP AND PRETEND IT WAS A FUN TRIP AND TELL EVERYBODY IT REALLY DIDN'T SEEM LIKJE IT TOOK THAT LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I DIDN'T RSVP BECAUSE I AM STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF I AM GOING TO BE ABLE TO COME. I THINK I CAN MAKE IT, BUT THINGS HERE CHANGE ON AN HOURLY BASIS, SO WHO THE HECK KNOWS????????????????? (ALSO DEBATING ON AN 8 HOUR RIDE WITH PETEY & ROBIN)

only 4 days left for Brandy to have freedom as a single woman!!! 3 days before I'm on VACATION for 10 days!! I can't wait!! This will be the longest 3 days of my life..... Robin and I went shopping this weekend. What fun!! And I hate shopping.. Found her a beautiful dress to wear to the wedding and shoes to match!! I found shoes too.(of course) I showed Sam my great shoe finds and he just shook his head and said that I had enough shoes how could I possibly need more. whatever. Anyway fixing to go to work so I will talk to ya'll later and I will be seeing ya'll later this week.......
