Soooo....this is the rash on my shin I've had since November. Nothing over the counter has helped. I can't figure out what it is but then I still have not received my medical license in the mail like they promised on www.beyourowndoctor.com Anyway, I thought I'd post it on here to see if anyone has seen this kind of rash before. It's gotten darker and bigger recently if that helps anyone's diagnosis. Here ya go......

Does it itch? Has it peeled? Has it spread? Spider bite? New medication?

yes michelle i know it's ewwww, i look at it all the time.
yes brandy it does itch, not all the time, but when it does it is really intense itching. it has not spread anywhere but on my leg. no new medication when it occurred. i doubt it's a spider bite (and frankly dont want to even think about THAT). it gets really dry if i don't put lotion or anything on it but doesn't clear up. if i put lotion on it, the dryness goes away but not the rash.

i know someone you can go see that will be able to tell you what the rash is and how to get rid of it......A FUCKING DOCTOR !!

oh and by the way, i have a doctor appt for 5/8. i didnt have the money to go before. my boss looked it up on the internet today (i tried and couldn't find anything) and we THINK it might be eczema. it kinda looked like it.

actually, i just said that cause michelle said it before. but it did kind of hurt my feelings, i'm a little worried about this rash. but that's okay, you just go on about your daily business, don't worry about me. no one cares about me anyway. i see how you all are.

ive had it for about a year.i have it over about 90% of my body now.they say no cure.they got me on some steroids,it helps some.my case is severe.tches so bad i scratch it till the blood runs.DONT SCRATCH IT!!ask yer dr. about triamcinolone and clobetasol propionate,these will help.if ya have to bathe everyday,use mildest soap,ask pharmacist,and use lots of good lotion,eucurin is good but expensive.i hope it aint eczema cause this shit is killing me, i look like a leper,it itches so bad i wanna kill something,it is constantly fucking with me,cant think or do anything but sit here and try not to scratch it.other than that my life is a fuckin ball

I know that my dad has psoriasis..it might be that. My kids have eczema and the pediatrician says it's hereditary and my dads psoriasis is to blame! ;) SO..I'm thinking it's a Coots thing..and you either have psoriasis or eczema. It looks miserable. Eucerin is good and so is aquaphor but they are both expensive. *sigh*
