Well, that was Michelle whining about her movies. WAAAA! Everyone should know by now, you loan me movies, you got to come get them if you want them back. Quite frankly, I've got other things on my mind. Why do you think I never rent them? And Doug didn't charge me, he just sent me a nasty reminder letter.

She's right though....it is miserably cold here! -15 degrees with wind chill tonight or tomorrow. As far as punishing her, she was crying and begging me for the address to this blog! It was pretty pitiful so I finally let her have it. A grown woman crying like that!

ok John, Here I am. I'm over at robin's getting some movies that she has had FOREVER! Maybe I should do like Doug and charge her?.... Anyway I HATE THIS FRICKIN COLD WEATHER!!!!! OKAY - SOME CHANGES

So I am trying out this layout to see how it works for everyone. No, the pink isn't staying...that's just for Valentine's Day. Well, and because I think it's PRETTY. Also, I added a new module called gabfest (look to your right). It's just basically an audio clip player. Listen to it and you will hear me tell you a little more. It's the only thing I've found so far to do audio...but I am still looking! If you want to call in and leave something on it and don't know the password, email me. I don't want to put it on the blog. What else? Oh, the Hit Counter. See the apples (get it, apples from the family tree?) - they show how many times our page gets viewed, every time one of us comes here.

BIRTHDAYS: there is now a list on here but I could only put the ones I know or think I know or remember or think I remember. You will have to help me out with this...email me with corrections and additions please.

I put AdSense on here so you will see ads from Google, etc. Theoretically, this means we might make a little money off it. Don't hold your breath though. I'm still playing around with it......who knows what you might see next?

Cool! So I got a lot of response about that song.....The Battle of New Orleans. Thanks everyone for the lyrics, etc. NOW, I can have the whole song running through my head. Hey, Tricia....if you've got that song on MP3, maybe we can download it on here. I will see if I can add a module with RealPlayer or something. Then we can all listen to it!

TROUBLE POSTING?

John had a good point on having to refresh the page several times to be able to post or anything. I don't know why it does that, probably because this used to be the "beta" version and they are still working the kinks out. So if you have trouble posting or whatever, try refreshing the page. Also, since I have this in my "favorites" or "bookmarked", I sometimes just go there and pull the page back up and it's usually fine then. Whatever, works for you, just keep on posting!


Still haven't gotten any feedback from anyone on the colors, or the layout or if there's anything you want to see on here. For instance, I can add a "list" module on the side for listing favorite websites you want to share or fun things, etc. I could list birthdays or something.

Thanks to John, we know Peg is aware of the page and reads it (apparently Doug is her favorite author on here) but hasn't posted yet. Johnny and Brandy know about it but aren't likely to post anytime soon. I know Ray knows about since he has left one comment....he may be a reader too. That leaves Darrell, Rick, Mike and Pete we are unsure about. I swear, I thought for sure Darrell and Mike would post on here! Oh well, maybe someday!
