TYLER'S ADDRESS
Here is the address for Tyler in Iraq.
PFC Trimbach, Tyler
FCO5 1-37AR 1-1AD
FOB Warrior APO AE 09338
He's far from home and fighting a war. He'd love to hear from anyone and everyone. If you want to send him something, send a phone card so he can call home - make sure it's an international one. If you want to send him a care pkg, he'd love it, I'm sure!! If you do send him a care pkg, check out this site first for a list of what you can and can't send over there! I think there's also a gov site but damned if I can find it.....anyone? You could also call Pete and see if he's mentioned needing anything in particular. I heard on TV that baby wipes were great to send - they use them to wipe off the sand & dirt when they're out and about. Also, Tyler can watch DVD's on his laptop if you want to send those.
Cards and care packages should be sent no later than the 10th (i think i heard this date on tv) to arrive by Xmas. I should've posted this earlier, I got the address on Thanksgiving. But I stuck it in my purse and just found it today. Sorry! But don't let that stop you from sending him a card or whatever.
Tyler is far from home, it's Christmas and he's surrounded by weary troops and crazy, suicidal idiots. Let's show him some support and love, Coots style!

A HEARTWARMING THANKSGIVING STORY
A koala was sitting in a gum tree smoking a joint

when a little lizard walked past, looked up and said, 'Hey Koala! What are you doing?'

The koala said, 'Smoking a joint, come up and have some.'
So the little lizard climbed up and sat next to the koala where they enjoyed a few joints. After a while the little lizard said that his mouth was 'dry' and that he was going to get a drink from the river.

The little lizard was so stoned that he leaned over too far and fell into the river.
A crocodile saw this and swam over to the little lizard and helped him to the side. Then he asked the little lizard, 'What's the matter with you?'
The little lizard explained to the crocodile that he had been sitting with the koala in the tree, smoking a joint, but got too stoned and fell into the river while taking a drink..
The crocodile said that he had to check this out and walked into the rain forest, found the tree where the koala was sitting finishing a joint. The crocodile looked up and said,

'Hey, you!'
So the koala looked down at him and said,

'Shiiiiiiiiiiit dude...
How much water did you drink!?'
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
(try not to over-indulge)

HALLOWEEN
It's just the way I roll these days. Things get done when they get done. So.
Ray and I went to visit Rick on Halloween to check out the annual display they put on in their garage. This year was a kind of corpse bride theme....pretty cool.
The groom and the...ummm...UN-preacher thingy waiting on the bride to walk down the aisle (check out the guests)

The lovely (?) bride. She was radiant!

The goody table at the "reception"

Check out the wedding cake............clever!

And, at the back of the garage there was a haunted pirate bar......it was actually really cool and kinda spooky. However, I DID NOT see that damn Chuckie doll until just now.......probably a good thing!

It was all really cool and they got lots of compliments from trick or treaters. They really put a lot of effort into this every year and Kathy does a great job in the creativity department! Rick does a great job in the actually making it work department!
