HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

In Memory of Our Mom:

Here are all your children in one place,
Enshrined behind some glass within a frame.
A picture's like a word, a sign, a name,
Symbolic of a much more complex grace.
Years of memories lie behind each face,
A wild sea no blessing can contain;
Years and years of love, of joy, of pain,
Of mysteries no heart can hope to trace.
Here are all the objects of your love,
A frozen section cut away from Time,
A summit between dreams and memories,
Which you need only look this way to climb;
An icon for domestic reveries
Through which a thousand answered prayers move.

"reject not your mother's teaching..." Proverbs 1:8-9

the big day

OK look people, lets act like we have been to a real wedding before. this will not be your run of the mill wedding ( i mean come on this brandy we are talking about). this will be a high flutin' affair. you will be required to wear an outfit that's better than what you wear on Sundays. by god if i have to dress up in a fricking suite, then you ladies will be required to wear hose ( and that includes you chance if you so desire). my wife beater shirt and overalls ain't going to cut it so i guess i will have to break down and ..... rent a suite ( you didn't think i was going to buy a suite for this little shindig did ya). lets face it this will be the only time i will ever be in a suite. i didn't even wear one for my own 2 weddings. not to mention i would have been over dressed for the justice of the peace in Chattanooga tn. oh and robin if that rash is still visible in June, please pick some colored hose. we done need the rash you caught from frolicking in the woods to be a topic of conversation on brandy's big day. after all its HER DAY and all conversations will be focused on how pretty she looks in her wedding dress. but i got to tell you that i have already seen the two little products of my sack in their dresses, and they are just the cutest little things.

HELLOOOO?

Hey Doug....can you come over Sunday and drill those holes in my dresser? Also, do you have an extender for my cable? Call me or leave me a note on here if you can or can't. It'll have to be Sunday, we are going to a bridal shower for Brandy on Saturday. Thanks!

Still been very quiet on here lately. Not sure why Doug, Darrell, Mark, or no one is posting anything but Brandy. Not that I don't enjoy her posts! At least it got those pics of my rash moved down! Update on rash: DR says it ain't eczema or psoriasis, but not sure what it is. She was quite shocked when she saw it, wasn't sure what it could be and more than a little pissed off that I'd waited this long to come see her. (You'd think she'd be used to me by now). She did take about 18 VIALS of blood to run every test she could think of, including Lyme disease. I assured her that not only had I not been frolicking with deer, I hadn't been frolicking at all, especially outside. She still wanted to add it to the list of "things to check". She gave me several RX but I could only fill two, due to lack of funds. You'll be happy to know, Mark, that one of them is a steriod (prednisone) and a steriod lotion. Hope one or both of them clear this shit up quick!

Pete was over the other night giving me an etiquette lession on weddings and what is /is not proper attire. I won't lie to you - sometimes she can be a little scary. Most of you will be receiving the same lesson in the next few weeks. BE PREPARED! She doesn't have internet right now so you may get a phone call from her.

Over and out for now.......time for bed.

Excerpts from a Cat's Diary

Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre
little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the
other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although
I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I nevertheless
must eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing
that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust
them, I once again vomit on the carpet.

Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their
feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it
clearly demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made
condescending comments about what a "good little hunter" I am.
Bastards!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was
placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However,
I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my
confinement was due to the power of "allergies." I must learn what
this means and how to use it to my advantage.

Today I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my
tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try
this again tomorrow -- but at the top of the stairs.

I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and
snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly
released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is
obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him
communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports
my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in
an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now...

FEAST YOUR EYES! (not for weak stomachs)

Soooo....this is the rash on my shin I've had since November. Nothing over the counter has helped. I can't figure out what it is but then I still have not received my medical license in the mail like they promised on www.beyourowndoctor.com Anyway, I thought I'd post it on here to see if anyone has seen this kind of rash before. It's gotten darker and bigger recently if that helps anyone's diagnosis. Here ya go......

Yayyyy!!!!. I was finally able to log in without it shutting my internet down. Brandy I loved the pics of your vacation. Robin you know I just love visiting with you. The smart ass comment makes me feel like I am at home with my friends. I am Planning on coming up in May but not sure now I got into a wreck last Friday night on my way home from work and totaled my truck and got charged with a D.U.I. Its a long story but NO I WAS NOT DRUNK! I work in a bar you get alcohol spilled on you so you smell like you have been drinking. My boss at the resturaunt I work in got me the best attorney in K-town and he says I should be able to get out of it, especially since I refused the field sobriety and made them do blood work. Well enough of how I'm doing hope everyone is doing good, hope to hear from you soon.
